Tooling Technology Names Sean Couse as New President

Tooling Technology, a Tooling Tech Group Company and provider of thermoform, compression and blow mold tooling, has appointed Sean Couse as company president, replacing the retiring Gary Poeppelman who led Tooling Technology for the past 17 years. Couse, originally joining Tooling Technology as its controller in 2022, will guide the company to expand its markets, while looking for opportunities to gain efficiencies and better serve its customers. Additionally, he will collaborate with the TTG executive team and other TTG divisions to look for additional value streams.

“In the time Sean has been with us, he has proven his holistic understanding of the business while also having insight into how a single administrative task can affect our efficiency,” said Tooling Tech Group CEO Lee Childers. “He’s done a great job of opening lines of communication throughout the company and we are excited to see the next ideas he brings to the organization and look forward to a strong future.”

Prior to joining Tooling Technology, Couse served as both controller and operations manager for Isaiah Industries (Piqua, OH). This experience provided him an unique ability to interact with all facets of a manufacturing organization, from operating costs to shop floor production to human resources. Since joining Tooling Technology, he has helped the company expand its blow mold business and worked with the sales team to strengthen customer relationships.

Couse holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Toledo and a Master of Business Administration from Bluffton University, as well as an HR Generalist Certification.
