Mary Nicholson Appointed President of Die Cad Group

July 8, 2019 – Mary Nicholson has been named president of Die Cad Group, a Tooling Tech Group (TTG) company that specializes in engineering and tooling design services for the metalworking and plastics industries. Nicholson will be responsible for running the Die Cad Group operations, continuing to grow the business both organically and through new opportunities.

Prior to joining Die Cad, Nicholson spent over 31 years working with AutoDie (Grand Rapids), most recently serving as vice president and COO where she was responsible for the overall implementation of World Class Manufacturing. This resulted in consistent operational improvement and diversified the company’s customer base by expanding its capabilities into aerospace, defense and production stampings.

“Mary’s broad experience across company operations as well as her years in the tooling industry will be a real asset to the Tooling Tech Group of companies,” said TTG CEO Lee Childers. “We are excited to have her join our team and look forward to growing the business together.”

Nicholson has over 34 years’ experience in the automotive industry. She is a graduate of Ferris State University with a B.S. in business and has a master’s degree in business administration and management from Aquinas College. Additionally she was recognized by Metalforming magazine as one of the Women of Excellence in Metalforming and Fabricating in 2017.
