We offer a variety of typical roto-mold finishes such as sand-blast, shot-peen, mirror polish or various coatings. We will also make modifications and repairs to your roto-molds as your design needs change.
From single-cavity, simple geometric shapes to complex, large-scale molds in multi-cavity frames and spiders, we can do it all. We can produce cast or machined billet aluminum rotational molds to meet your lead-time, quality standards and your budget. Tooling Tech Group creates rotational molds for a wide range of large-scale, hollow plastic parts such as:
While working with the mower manufacturer, Tooling Technology and Automation Engineers were able to design and convert an existing rotational molded tank into a blow molded program very effectively. Using industry experience and knowledge, the team designed a fold up mounting tab verses a conventional injection molded HPW solution.
The design focus allowed the processor to start up the program without a custom injection tab saving over $25k in tooling costs. Furthermore, over the life of the program the savings per part would continue producing the tank more efficiently than the rotational method.
